SUMMARY:IBC Event:''Introducing the American Merchandise Center in China''
DESCRIPTION:When introducing American-made goods in China\, one of the key problems U.S. firms experience is difficulty finding an effective\, on-going way to exhibit products to potential distributors and merchandisers. As a solution to these concerns\, the International Business Center is proud to announce the launch of a new initiative.\n\nThe event will unveil the first American Merchandise Center in China designed for the permanent display of U.S. goods. Colin Wu\, President of the Schaumburg-based China Business Sources has extensive experience working with and coordinating numerous business ventures in China\, and will present the American Merchandise Center\, as well as\, explain the concept in more detail.\n\nThe new 110\,000 SF American Merchandise Center is located in the city of Yiwu\, 150 miles west of Shanghai. Yiwu is a distribution center for commodities throughout the entire China\, with over 300\,000 business buyers visiting daily. It is based on the American concept of a merchandise mart\, providing permanent center for manufacturers to display their products. The Center has 188 seperate booths\, and will be divided into five different pavilions\, each one specializing in a certain category such as consumer goods\, agricultural products\, manufacturing products\, specialty chemicals\, etc.
