Connecting Local Businesses to Global Marketplace
''Connecting Local Businesses to the Global Marketplace'' US Congresswoman Melissa L. Bean (D-8th) will be the keynote speaker during the International Trade networking event held at the International Business Center. Her speech will be on the topic ''Connecting Local Businesses to the Global Marketplace.'' Twelve Trade Commissioners representing India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Lithuania, Canada, Mexico, Hong Kong, Hungary, Italy, South Africa, Korea and The Netherlands will be on hand to meet local firms and manufacturers. In addition, a local company will be named as the Export Achievement Certificate (EAC) from the U.S. Department of Commerce.
